Demo - Cyber Savvy

InCharge Education Foundation, in conjunction with the National 4-H Cooperative Curriculum System, Inc., wanted to provide web-based activities to complement Consumer Savvy, their consumer education series for grades 4 through 12. Digitec worked with the paper-based course material to create Cyber Savvy, a series of highly interactive, web-based activities that reinforce key consumer skills and concepts.
Modeled after an arcade, Cyber Savvy activities offer students a fun way to practice the skills they acquire during the Consumer Savvy course, such as identifying needs versus wants, the difference between goods and services, comparison shopping, and internet safety. Activities reinforce instruction with positive reinforcement and remediation.
In addition to the student activities, Digitec developed a Helper’s Guide web page with links to related resources for teachers and 4-H leaders.
